Programme 2022

The Strategic Proposals “Rising Stars” award programme recognises outstanding young talent in bid and proposal management.

If you're based in the UK and under 30 - or still near the start of your career in our profession - we'd like to invite you to apply.

There are only 20 places on the Awards programme, limited to a maximum of one attendee per organisation. You must commit to attending both courses, if selected.

What you get

Award winners will be offered a bundle of free leading-edge training and development activities across 2022, including:

Two courses on bid & proposal best practice – London (21 April) and Leeds (21 & 22 September)

Industry-leading guest speakers at both course

Drinks reception after the first event, and group dinner at the Leeds session

Project work with your fellow programme members

1:1 coaching from a senior Strategic Proposals team member

The chance to build a network with other future stars of our profession.

We cover all of the costs, including materials, food and drinks at the events. We’d ask your organisation to kindly cover your travel costs including any accommodation.

This is our second Rising Stars award programme. The first, in 2017, was a finalist in the British Excellence in Sales Management Awards, and the attendees are still in regular contact!

To apply

There are two parts to the application process, and the deadline for both is 5pm GMT on 30^th November 2021:

Step 1

You need to send us an email (with your name, job title and current organisation) explaining why you should be selected for the programme. Attachments (e.g. PDF) are allowed if you want to use them.

Step 2

Separately, your line manager (or another senior executive) needs to send an email recommending you for the programme and confirming that they’ll allow you to attend the events.
