You’ve drafted your proposal. It contains lots of great content. But are you truly confident that it will hit the mark for the evaluators? It’s crucial that your proposal creates empathy with your customer, tells a clear, concise and compelling story, answers the full question with strong proof points and differentiators, and scores highest in the customer’s evaluation.

Strategic Proposals has a panel of expert reviewers who can check all these things for you. They can come in at the final document review stage, or earlier, identify what you need to focus on, and most importantly, suggest how to improve your evaluation scores.

How we work

We’ll start by asking about your client’s background and real needs, and about the competitive landscape. We’ll want to know about your history of working with the customer, and any likely preconceptions they’ll have. Also, we’ll want to stay a little distant: the customer won’t know too much about your solution, so to reflect this, neither will we.

We’re proposal experts, not technical ones. We won’t challenge your solution, but more how it’s conveyed. We’ll check that your proposal is easy to understand, persuasive, differentiates itself from the competition, and that it meets the customer’s requirements.

We’ll give constructive challenge so that authors can embrace suggestions and act on them quickly. If you have a particular tool for capturing comments, we can use the same. That said, many clients value using our review form, itemising prioritised recommendations.

We can also engage earlier. For example, we can facilitate competitor reviews or hold a review of your strategy, solution, and writing plans.
