Run, Mark, Run! We're proud to sponsor one of our writers in this year's London Marathon, supporting Phab Kids.
He writes, he runs, he's out there raising funds...
SP are happy to support one of our writers, Mark, as he pounds the pavements in preparation for April's London Marathon. We've given him three pairs of new Nike running shoes (two for the training and one for the big day) and a donation towards his fundraising target. He's aiming to raise one hundred pounds for every mile.
It's part of our CSR strategy to give our team the opportunity to support their local communities and take part in fundraising events for causes that mean something to them. We're particularly proud when they go the extra mile, quite literally in this case.
Phab enables people of all abilities to make more of life together - breaking down community barriers, reducing social isolation, and creating opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy the same activities and challenges side by side. The first Phab project began in 1957, and for over 60 years the charity has inspired and supported disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults.
